NIO intends to newly build 20 NIO Houses, 120 NIO Spaces in 2021

As of now, NIO has already had 23 NIO Houses and 303 NIO Spaces, covering 121 cities in China. The expansion will leverage NIO's competitive advantages of direct sales and combine both online and offline traffic so as to improve user experience and the efficiency of the entire sales process.

According to NIO’s financial results, it delivered 7,225 and 5,578 new vehicles in January and February respectively, representing vigorous 352% and 689% year-on-year hike. As of February 28, 2021, NIO saw its cumulative deliveries total 88,444 vehicles.

The growing sales should be supported by a solid production capacity. Mr. Li revealed NIO's monthly production capacity had reached 7,500 units in January. JAC Motors, serving as NIO’s contract manufacturer, has started further capacity expansion at Hefei plant, expecting to ramp up the annual capacity to 150,000 units under one shift and 300,000 units under two shifts to accommodate future production of the ET7 and more new products.

In terms of energy supply network, NIO will deploy the Power Swap Station 2.0 starting from the second quarter of 2021. The company has to-day launched 191 battery swapping stations in 76 cities, and aims to increase the total number to at least 500 by 2021.

Additionally, NIO attempts to deploy 600 power charger stations and over 15,000 destination chargers respectively by the end of 2021, rising from the current 127 and over 1,700.
