In recent years, automakers are heading into the electric vehicle (EV) domain as EV deployment has been on rise. Besides, with the prevalence of emerging technologies like cloud-based platforms, AI and big data, intelligent manufacturing has become an unavoidable trend and automakers are quickening their digital transition and upgrade.

Under the agreement, Aurora Mobile will make use of its AI-driven targeted push notification services and the machine-learning-powered capabilities like the intelligent analysis of operational data and deep insight into users’ behaviors to help BYD DiLink better grasp users’ demands and improve user experience by offering safe, smarter and user-friendly smart mobility services.

The collaboration with BYD DiLink signals another strategic move forward for Aurora Mobile in EV and IoV (Internet of Vehicles) industries following the partnerships with NEV manufacturers including WM Motor, Niu Technologies, Dongfeng Motor and JMEV, the company said.

Aurora Mobile claimed in late Jan. it agreed a strategic partnership with Baoneng Motor and the latter’s subsidiary Foresea Seven Swords to co-work on intelligent mobility services and experience.

Founded in 2011, Aurora Mobile is committed to providing efficient and stable push notification, one-click verification and App traffic monetization services to help developers improve operational efficiency. Moreover, the company's vertical applications have expanded to market intelligence, financial risk management, and location-based intelligence, empowering various industries to improve productivity and optimize decision-making.

As a leading NEV manufacturer in China, BYD has to-day sold more than 910,000 NEVs. In addition, BYD has not only independently developed DiLink, one of the most well-known ICV systems in China, and but also was the first domestic auto brand to make the automotive over-the-air (OTA) upgrade.
