Chery Holding boasts 18.7% growth in 2020’s export volume
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chery Holding announced its auto sales totaled roughly 730,000 units in 2020. As of Dec., the group's monthly sales represented month-over-month growth for the tenth month in a row.
In spite of the coronavirus spread, Chery Holding still gained growth in its overseas business. The group exported 114,000 vehicles last month, a year-on-year jump of 18.7%.
Last month, Chery Holding sold around 115,700 new vehicles, the highest monthly volume of the year. For the fourth quarter of 2020, the average growth in monthly sales stood at 28%.

The group said the respective sales of the Tiggo 8 series, the all-new Tiggo 5x, the all-new Tiggo 7 and the Jetour family all exceeded 10,000 units in December.
Thanks to the strong demands of the Tiggo and Arrizo series, Chery Automobile’s annual sales grew 8.6% from the previous year to 449,000 units.
The sales of the Tiggo 8 series reached 22,076 units in December, topping 20,000 units for two straight months. Hitting the market on Dec. 18, the Arrizo 5 PLUS had a cumulative sales volume of over 5,000 units.
The new energy vehicle (NEV) sales of Chery aggregated 43,000 units for the year of 2020.
EXEED scored a 50% hike in its 2020 sales. Last year, the premium brand launched the M3X high-performance vehicle platform and fulfilled its product deployment covering compact SUVs, mid-sized SUVs and full-sized SUVs.

Jetour, a brand focusing on the “Travel+” segment of the market, saw its full-year sales reach 126,600 units, of which 26,608 units were sold in December.
Chery Jaguar Land Rover (CJLR) achieved an 8.8% annual growth with 57,900 units sold. The joint venture saw its 300,000th complete vehicle roll off the production line last year.
