The side profile delivers an essence of elegance thanks to the smooth beltline and the ducktail-shaped design.

In the cockpit, the front panel houses three displays: dashboard, infotainment, and climate control.

The E-HS9 comes with two power versions that deliver NEDC driving ranges of 460km and 510km respectively. The base spec packs dual electric motors rated at 160kW each mounted one per axle. The top spec retains the front motor, while carries a stronger 245kW unit at the rear.

According to the car manufacturer, the E-HS9 is the first mass-produced model equipped with Qualcomm’s C-V2X chipset. Leveraging Qualcomm’s dead reckoning and high-precision positioning technologies, the E-HS9 achieves positioning accuracy at sub-meter level.

The launch of the E-HS9 marks a significant headway in commercializing C-V2X technology. C-V2X is an important supporting technology to realizing the intelligent driving functions of the next-generation intelligent-connected vehicles, and is able to provide efficient safety guarantee for autonomous vehicles. The integration of self-driving system and CV2X technology is of particular significance to achieving Level 5 autonomous driving.
