Shanghai (ZXZC)- Hitting the market in October 2018, the Binyue is a SUV model based on Geely's BMA (B-segment Modular Architecture) platform. It witnessed two refreshed models—the Binyue PRO and ePRO—go on sale on April 15 with eight variants priced from RMB79,800 and to RMB149,800.

The Binyue Pro displays a striking resemblance to the existing model. The unmistakable essence of the front fascia is characterized by the signature “expanding cosmos grill”, which is seamlessly flanked by headlights. In addition, the aggressive fog lights and air intake render a sporty sense.

Geely Auto said the entire lineup of the Geely PRO will feature sporty styling, which will be demonstrated by the two-tone rims, the exhaust layout with dual stacks of pipes on each side, the newly-designed bumper and the rear spoiler.

Regarding the side profile, the upper character line that swoops from the front door to the rear highlights the length of the vehicle.

The rear offers quite a clean look. The integration of a chrome-plate trim and taillights on both sides is rather trendy to today's PV design. The multi-layered sense is accentuated by the proper usage of some lines.

The Binyue ePRO looks very similar to the outstanding Binyue PHEV. Compared to the fuel-burning version, some differences can be noted in the color of grille, the rim design and the decorative cover of exhaust pipes. The charging port is located on the left fender.
