Available in both all-electric and range-extended versions, the AVATR 07 is the first model based on Changan's Kunlun range-extending technology. It comes in six variants, with prices ranging from 219,900 yuan to 289,900 yuan. The vehicle is equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system and HarmonyOS 4.0 smart cockpit.
According to Changan Automobile, the factory achieved its SOP (start of production) milestone on December 27, 2023, with the rollout of the Changan NEVO E07, just 352 days after construction began.
The factory is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including integrated die-casting that reduces the number of parts from 163 to 2 and cuts production time from 2 hours to just 2 minutes. It also features the world’s first highly flexible CTV battery assembly line, as well as the self-developed Anchen cloud inspection system (name in Chinese pinyin) for automated software testing. Over 1,200 intelligent devices, AI visual inspection, and Changan's proprietary technologies, such as spark-free riveting and Golden Shield battery systems, are deployed throughout the facility.
This year, the factory is set to ramp up production with three new energy vehicle models, including the NEVO E07.
