Shanghai (ZXZC)- On October 17, Shineray Motors and BWI Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, focusing on advancing innovations in intelligent chassis systems, according to a post on BWI Group's WeChat account. The partnership aims to accelerate the development and deployment of domain-controlled chassis technologies.

The collaboration centers on the advancement of cutting-edge products for chassis systems, including BWI's signature MagneRide® magnetorheological dampers, AeroRide air suspension, the iDBC1 integrated brake-by-wire system (1-Box), electromechanical brake systems (EMB), as well as intelligent fully active and semi-active suspension systems, and advanced intelligent chassis domain control systems.

To be specific, the MagneRide® damper, a unique global technology in mass production for 20 years, are now in its fourth generation, adjusting up to 1,000 times per second, and will go into domestic production in 2025. The AeroRide air suspension leads the industry with a 150mm body adjustment range. The iDBC1 integrated brake-by-wire system (1-Box) complies with ASPICE/ASIL-D safety standards and offers an optimal L2 ADAS solution. BWI’s electromechanical brake system (EMB), featuring a fully redundant, all-dry design, supports advanced autonomous driving systems at L4 and beyond. The intelligent chassis domain control system, utilizing a combination of hardware, software, and centralized electrical architecture, further enhances performance and smart capabilities by transforming functional software into market-ready products.
