Nio Sept deliveries breakdown: ES6 and ET5T contribute over 60%

The ES6, with 7,901 units delivered in September, was the highest-delivering Nio model last month, contributing 37.3 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.

Figures released by Nio earlier this month showed it delivered 21,181 vehicles in September, including 20,349 under the main Nio brand and 832 under sub-brand Onvo.

The ES6 and ET5T combined delivered 13,491 vehicles in September, contributing 63.69 percent of Nio Inc deliveries and 66.3 percent of the Nio brand.

In the January-September period, the ES6 delivered 55,614 vehicles, contributing 37.25 percent of Nio Inc deliveries, and the ET5T delivered 36,641 vehicles, contributing 24.54 percent.

Onvo -- whose first model, the L60, was launched on September 19 and began deliveries on September 28 -- contributed 3.93 percent of Nio Inc deliveries in September.

Nio's main brand currently sells eight models -- ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, ET5 Touring -- of which the first five are SUVs and the last three are sedans.

The electric vehicle (EV) maker unveiled the ET9 in December last year and deliveries of the executive flagship sedan will begin in the first quarter of 2025.

Monthly deliveries of higher-priced models and those aimed at niche markets are typically lower.

The EC6 coupe SUV delivered 2,669 vehicles in September, contributing 12.6 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

From January through September, the EC6 delivered 19,488 vehicles, contributing 13.05 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.

The ET5 sedan delivered 2,378 units in September, contributing 11.23 percent of Nio Inc's monthly deliveries.

From January through September, the sedan delivered 20,307 vehicles, contributing 13.6 percent.

The ES8 delivered 766 vehicles in September, contributing 3.62 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.

The Nio flagship SUV delivered 6,868 vehicles in January-September, contributing 4.6 percent.

The ES8 is by far Nio's most expensive, with a starting price of RMB 498,000 ($70,340) in China.

The ET7 sedan delivered 651 vehicles in September, contributing 3.07 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

In the January-September period, the ET7 delivered 5,513 vehicles, contributing 3.69 percent.

The EC7 coupe SUV delivered 237 vehicles in September, contributing 1.12 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

In the January-September period, the EC7 delivered 2,183 vehicles, contributing 1.46 percent.

The ES7 SUV delivered 157 vehicles in September, contributing 0.74 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

From January through September, the ES7 delivered 1,835 vehicles, contributing 1.23 percent.
