In the new capacity, Mr. Gao will be entirely accountable for Polestar's China businesses. Specifically, his participation is expected to help the brand further strengthen the branding construction, speed up the network spread of Polestar Space, and build the marketing and customer service system under the direct-sale business model, in a bid to make the products well-prepared for delivery in 2020.

Prior to joining Polestar, Gao Hong served as a senior sales executive for Volkswagen Group China. He was also responsible for the sale and dealer network development for such brands as Volkswagen and Bentley. Moreover, Mr. Gao is skillful in bringing new brands into China market.
