Huawei, Chery co-developed LUXEED R7 hits market, starting at 259,800 yuan
Beijing (ZXZC)- On September 24, during Huawei's fall product launch event, Huawei’s smart car alliance, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), officially released its first coupe SUV, the LUXEED R7, onto the market. Starting at 259,800 yuan, the LUXEED R7 showcases significant advancements in exterior design, cabin space, and smart technology.

Featuring the OneBox design concept, the LUXEED R7 offers an impressive spaciousness and a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.219Cd. It is built on the robust Tuling platform, seamlessly integrating intelligent technology to enhance comfort, drivability, and safety. The entire lineup is equipped with Huawei's 800V high-voltage battery platform, along with the HUAWEI ADS 3.0 advanced smart driving system and HarmonyOS smart cabin.

The R7 measures 4,956mm in length, 1,981mm in width, and 1,634mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950mm. The OneBox design philosophy has been employed to enhance the coupe SUV experience by optimizing cabin proportions.

Inside, the front cabin creates a tech-forward, immersive driving space. It separates the visibility, display, and control zones, complemented by an ergonomically optimized steering wheel that enhances driver visibility and control. The central console island features two 50W super wireless chargers, three 66W wired chargers, and dual cup holders for convenience. An optional 8.2L mini bar with a wide temperature range of 3-50 degrees allows passengers to enjoy their drinks at the perfect temperature. The R7 is also the first SUV from HIMA to feature a co-pilot zero-gravity seat.

The entire LUXEED R7 lineup comes equipped with the HUAWEI DriveONE 800V high-voltage silicon carbide power platform, with the R7 Ultra version delivering a total power output of 365kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and achieving a maximum range of 802 km.
