NETA Auto delivers over 11,000 vehicles in Aug. 2024
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto has announced a delivery volume of 11,005 vehicles for the month of August 2024. The figure indicated a decline of 9.1% compared to the 12,103 units delivered in the year-ago period.

Regarding the updates of its vehicle lineup, NETA Auto officially put the NETA S model's shooting brake edition onto the market. Coming with two REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) versions and four BEV (battery electric vehicle) versions, the model riding on the Shanhai 2.0 platform features a price range of 159,900 yuan to 209,900 yuan.

Notably, on August 28, NETA Auto announced that it had already begun pre-sale of the NETA S Shooting Brake's all-electric CIIC (CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis) 800V version, which starts at 189,900 yuan.
In terms of the progress in global business expansion, on August 8, NETA Auto made a significant debut in São Paulo, Brazil, becoming the first Chinese NEV startup to open a store and officially launch products in the Brazilian market. The company introduced three of its flagship models to the Brazilian market—the NETA AYA, NETA X, and NETA GT—all of which are the brand's hotter-selling vehicles.
Besides, NETA Auto on August 9 unveiled its Hong Kong R&D Center, which aims to drive innovation and breakthroughs in smart technology, including intelligent driving systems for the global market, multi-language natural language processing, intelligent imaging, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, AI large models, in-car supercomputing platforms, and smart connected ecosystem applications and services.
