Shanghai (ZXZC)- On August 25, NETA Auto officially put the NETA S model's shooting-brake edition onto the market, offering six variants priced between 159,900 yuan and 209,900 yuan.

Notably, during the launch event, a pre-sale price of 189,900 yuan was announced for a fully electric version of the NETA S Shooting Brake that features an 800V architecture.

In terms of exterior design, the NETA S Shooting Brake is available in five color choices, including two exclusive paint options. The front of the vehicle retains the design of the NETA S' sedan edition, featuring large air intakes on both sides and a diamond-shaped grille below. Top-spec variants will also come equipped with roof-mounted LiDAR. The vehicle is fitted with slim LED daytime running lights, integrated with the main headlights and triangular air intake design on the lower front fascia. Additionally, a special blackout package is available for those looking for a more distinctive look.

From the side, the vehicle showcases a sleek waistline that flows seamlessly with the downward-sloping hood, creating a dynamic appearance. The front and rear fenders slightly extend outwards, contributing to a compact wide-body design, and hidden door handles enhance its aerodynamic profile. The vehicle also features dual-tone, five-spoke Y-shaped wheels, available in 19- or 20-inch sizes, accented by red brake calipers.

The new vehicle measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,980 mm.

At the rear, the NETA S Shooting Brake is equipped with a roof spoiler and full-width taillights, visually extending the car's width. The rear bumper is designed with a minimalist approach, offering a strong sense of three-dimensionality, while the overall rear profile remains full and rounded. The carmaker also highlights a roof rack with a load capacity of up to 100 kg for the shooting-braking model.

Inside, the cabin features a unique blue interior color scheme, complemented by glacial-cut texture accents, enhancing its refined feel. The model includes a 49-inch head-up display (HUD), a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and a 17.6-inch, 2.5K multimedia center touchscreen in a portrait form. A panoramic sunroof covering 1.47 square meters is also part of the package, with a claimed 99.9% UV protection rate.

In terms of other equipment, the new version offers a 6.5-liter in-car refrigerator and the NETA SOUND in-house developed speaker system on some variants. The Max version is equipped with NVIDIA's Orin-X chip platform, offering 254 TOPS of computing power. Optional features include Hesai Technology's AT128 mountain-range-style LiDAR, along with advanced intelligent driving systems and NNP highway navigation assistance function.

Regarding powertrain options, the NETA S Shooting Brake range-extended variant is powered by the HZ-2.0 super range-extending system, featuring a 1.5L range extender with a maximum output of 95 horsepower. The single electric motor provides a peak power of 272 horsepower, paired with a 43.88 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC battery-powered range of 300 km and a combined range of 1,200 km. The all-electric model comes in both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions, with the rear-wheel-drive version delivering a maximum power of 250 kW, while the four-wheel-drive version offers 503 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The suspension system remains consistent with the NETA S' sedan edition, utilizing a front double-wishbone independent suspension and a rear multi-link independent suspension.

The NETA S Shooting Brake will take on such models as the NIO ET5T, the ZEEKR 001, and the ZEEKR 007 Touring Edition set to be launched next year.
