NETA Auto begins pre-sales of NETA S Shooting Brake’s REEV versions
Shanghai (ZXZC)- NETA Auto has officially begun pre-sales for its NETA S model’s shooting brake edition (called “NETA S Shooting Brake” for short), initially offering three REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) versions priced between 175,900 yuan and 209,900 yuan.

This new vehicle remains positioned as a mid-to-large-sized vehicle, built on the Shanhai Platform 2.0. The variants available in the latest presale are equipped with a range-extended power system, with full-electric versions expected for launch in the future. The NETA S Shooting Brake is slated for official market release later in August, with mass deliveries beginning in September.

In terms of design, the NETA S Shooting Brake shares the same front-end styling as the sedan edition, featuring a closed-off front grille and split-type headlight design. The front bumper includes triangular ventilation openings on both sides and a large, trapezoidal cooling vent that integrates a sporty front lip. The roof carries a LiDAR unit, promising advancements in intelligent driving capabilities.

The vehicle also boasts a wide-body design with flared front and rear fenders, Y-shaped five-spoke wheels, and a straight waistline with sculpted door panels, all enhancing its muscular appearance.
At the rear, the NETA S Shooting Brake is fitted with a roof spoiler and a full-width taillight assembly, maintaining the distinctive shooting brake silhouette that offers high recognition.

Interior images reveal that the shooting brake body style provides more headroom in the rear seats. The car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, further enhancing the sense of spaciousness inside. The seats feature a diamond-shaped grid pattern, with a central armrest that includes a pop-out cup holder. The door panels are adorned with wood grain finishes, giving the interior a premium feel.
As a shooting brake, the NETA S Shooting Brake offers a rear cargo area that connects seamlessly with the rear seats to create a flat loading space, ideal for outdoor activities like picnics and camping. The vehicle measures 4,980mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,980mm. The interior adopts a five-seat layout, offering more space compared to the sedan version.

Underneath, the NETA S Shooting Brake utilizes the HOZON skateboard chassis technology, featuring integrated die-cast front and rear bodies with an energy-integrated cabin. The model is expected to offer an optional air suspension.
Powering the vehicle is an 800V high-voltage architecture coupled with a SiC (silicon carbide) integrated motor. The full-electric rear-wheel-drive version will feature an electric motor that delivers up to 250kW. The REEV version will come with a new 1.5L range extender using the Atkinson cycle, paired with an upgraded flat-wire generator to improve efficiency, achieving a fuel-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.26 kWh/L.
