ZEEKR’s car deliveries zoom up 89% YoY in Jan.-Jul. period of 2024

Shanghai (ZXZC)- In July 2024, ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, delivered 15,655 new vehicles, marking a 30% year-on-year jump, but facing a 22% month-on-month decline, according to the carmaker's sales results.

From January to July this year, ZEEKR delivered a total of 103,525 vehicles, achieving an 89% soar compared to the same period of last year.

On August 1, ZEEKR announced the delivery of its 300,000th vehicle, a ZEEKR 009 Grand MPV. It took the automaker only 33 months to reach this milestone.

The All New ZEEKR 009 officially hit the market on July 19, marking a significant upgrade for ZEEKR's MPV lineup. The first batch of the new ZEEKR 009s was delivered from ZEEKR's 5G Smart Factory on July 22. Remarkably, within 10 days of its launch, the model’s fixed orders surpassed 6,000 units.

In 2024, ZEEKR has introduced several heavyweight new models. Apart from the aforesaid All New ZEEKR 009, the carmaker announced on July 10 its first family SUV had been named ZEEKR 7X, which is built on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform. Additionally, on April 25, the ZEEKR MIX, the brand's first model built on the SEA-M architecture, debuted at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, and its official images were released in July. Both models are slated for market launch in the second half of the year.

As for global business development, ZEEKR has expanded into multiple markets, including Hong Kong, Macao, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, as well as Europe, Latin America, and Australia. As of June this year, ZEEKR has opened 429 stores worldwide, with plans to increase this number to over 520 by the end of the year.
