Changan 4th-generation CS75 Plus is almost ready for launch
On July 10, Changan released the interior images of its 4th-generation CS75 Plus SUV. The official launch is expected to be in the second half of the year. For reference, the current Changan CS75 Plus has a price range of 117,900 – 149,900 yuan (16,200 – 20,600 USD).
The new Changan CS75 Plus is still a gasoline-powered vehicle. So far, only the 1.5T engine trim has been declared and will be available in two power options: 138 kW (185 hp) and 141 kW (189 hp). At this time, it is not known whether the 2.0T engine will continue to be offered.
In the front, the grille continues to use a frameless design, but the interior is replaced with a new structure, supplemented by dot-matrix chrome elements for embellishment. The headlight group has also been adjusted. There is a through-type light strip above the grille and three additional light strips are added under the light strip on both sides. The Changan logo can also be lit.
In the rear, the through-type taillights are composed of numerous individual light units and the Changan logo can be lit up, making it highly recognizable. At the same time, the high-mounted brake light is reduced to one and the double-sided chrome exhaust decoration is canceled, instead, a hidden layout is adopted.
The car has dimensions of 4770/1910/1695 (1705) mm and a wheelbase of 2800 mm, which is 60 mm longer and 45 mm wider than the 3rd-generation Changan CS75 Plus. The wheelbase is also 90 mm longer.
Inside, the most eye-catching is the triple-screen consisting of a full LCD instrument panel, a central control screen, and a co-pilot entertainment screen. Besides the screens, the number of physical buttons has been minimized on the center console, which is equipped with two mobile phone wireless charging panels and two cupholders.
Additionally, the steering wheel is double-spoke, the co-pilot seat is zero-gravity quality, and both the seat and door trim surfaces are decorated with perforated designs. A through-type light strip is also integrated under the triple-screen.
The interior can sit five people as the standard.
