Li Auto celebrates delivery of 200,000th Li L9 SUV
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Li Auto officially announced on July 10 that the 200,000th Li L9 SUV has been delivered at its Shunyi Delivery Center in Beijing.
To commemorate this milestone, the Li Auto L9 will be inducted into the Beijing Auto Museum this month, becoming the first range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) model in the museum's collection.

The Li L9 is positioned as a six-seater large-sized range-extended electric SUV model, with the Pro and Ultra versions priced at 409,800 yuan and 439,800 yuan, respectively.
The Li L9 officially hit the market on June 21, 2022, with deliveries beginning on August 30 of the same year.
According to Li Auto's introduction, the overall design of the Li L9 breaks away from traditional plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) or REEV design concepts. From the initial design stage, the product and engineering teams agreed that this model should embody the dimensions and proportions of a full-size six-seater SUV and feature next-generation intelligent electric vehicle technology. As a result, the Li L9 evolved and iterated while inheriting the family design language. For example, the front end is devoid of a front grille, and it is equipped with integrated floating star ring headlights, giving it a sleek and highly recognizable appearance.
To enhance driving comfort, the development team implemented a highly integrated front cabin layout, enabling the Li L9 to feature a dual-chamber air suspension system, CDC (continuous damping control) system, and a front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension system, despite having an range extender at the front.
Notably, when overseas air suspension suppliers couldn't meet supply demands, Li Auto decided to collaborate with domestic suppliers to develop the air suspension system, making it a standard feature for Chinese consumers.
In addition, the Li L9 is significant for Li Auto's intelligent driving team because it debuts the carmaker's full-stack self-developed AD Max system. This month, Li Auto will roll out features like "HD map-free NOA (navigate on pilot)" for nationwide driving, fully automated AES (automatic emergency steering), and comprehensive low-speed AEB (automatic emergency braking), further enhancing the product's value. Additionally, Li Auto unveiled a new autonomous driving technology architecture based on end-to-end models, VLM (visual language model), and world model, with an early-bird program about to launch. In terms of intelligent space, the Li L9 pioneered an in-car 3D spatial interaction experience. Using the Mind GPT large model, the Li Xiang Tong Xue has evolved from a voice assistant into a multimodal human-machine interaction assistant, now serving over 800,000 families.
