GWM Haval H6 facelift interior now revealed
It seems that everyday we’re bringing you a Haval H6 story, and today we give you the just revealed interior for the 2024 Haval H6 facelift. The car will be officially unveiled to the public next week at the Beijing Auto Show where pre-sales are expected to begin.
Official shots of the interior from Great Wall show an off-white color scheme for the interior although we have also found photographs of an all-black version. Overall the look remains fairly similar with the center console receiving the most change over the 2022 Haval H6.
Inside the 2024 Haval H6 gains chrome highlights on the steering wheel, on the door pulls and at the base of the top of the dashboard. There are two separate floating screens consisting of a smaller one for the instrument panel and a larger centrally mounted infotainment screen. There are hardly any buttons with most things controlled by the human machine interface and presumably voice control.
Most noticeable is the change to the center console. First off the gear selection dial is gone replaced by a stalk mounted shifter. This move opens up the center console space which is now occupied by a wireless 50W phone charging pad and two cup holders. With a floating center console it has further storage space underneath.
Seats are a perforated leather type material. Rear seats are 60:40 split folding and second row passengers get air conditioning outlets.
Power still comes from a choice of 1.5T or 2.0T engines but details are a bit different to the 2023 Haval H6. For the 1.5 turbo unit power is now 130 kW. And in the case of the 2.0T version power has increased from 155 kW to 170 kW and fuel consumption is now 8.1 l/100 km. Both engines use a 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission.
Following soon should be a PHEV version using Great Wall’s Hi4 four wheel drive system and likely priced around 150,000 yuan (20,700 USD).
We should know more details of the Haval H6 facelift at next week’s Beijing Auto Show.
