Shanghai (ZXZC)- On July 25, NETA Auto made significant strides in the Southeast Asian market by simultaneously launching its all-electric SUV, the NETA X, in Thailand's Bangkok and Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur. This dual-market launch marks an accelerated phase in NETA Auto's global strategy, particularly in Southeast Asia.

NETA Auto is rapidly expanding its overseas product portfolio. To meet the expectations, driving habits, and regulatory requirements of users in Thailand, Brazil, and other regions, NETA Auto has made several localized adjustments to its export models.

According to the carmaker, the localized NETA X features an advanced driver assistance system and an intelligent cockpit powered by multilingual voice assistant. It also offers a variety of online functions, including music streaming, navigation, and vehicle control via a smartphone app, with support for OTA upgrades. Additionally, the NETA X is equipped with a 15.6-inch smart central screen, greatly enhancing convenience and user experience.

In Thailand, NETA Auto has brought new energy vehicle experiences to over 17,000 consumers, frequently ranking at the top of the monthly sales charts for electric models. In Malaysia, NETA Auto plans to intensify its efforts by launching at least three competitive vehicle models over the next two years and accelerating the establishment of sales channels to provide local users with more products and better services.

This year, NETA Auto has been focusing on expanding its presence in overseas markets, with three major factories already deployed in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. In January, the company signed an agreement with a Malaysian partner, leading to the establishment of its third overseas factory in Malaysia. By March, the eco-smart factory in Thailand began large-scale production, with an expected annual capacity of 30,000 vehicles. In April, the factory in Indonesia rolled off its first new cars.

In June, NETA Auto opened its first African flagship store in Nairobi, Kenya. This is the first store opened by a Chinese new energy vehicle startup in African right-hand drive market.

On July 16, NETA Auto opened its first South American subsidiary on Paulista Avenue in São Paulo, Brazil, with the first three models set to enter the Brazilian market in the third quarter. This move signifies NETA Auto's official entry into the Brazilian market.
