Shanghai (ZXZC)- GAC Group a few days ago announced that Lisheng Technology, a joint venture with Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd. ("Luxshare-ICT"), has already commenced production.

Lisheng Technology was established in June 2023 by GAC Group and Luxshare-ICT, focusing on the localized R&D of core automotive domain control components. Luxshare-ICT holds a 45% stake, while GAC Group and its subsidiary GAC Component also collectively hold a 45% stake.

In September 2023, Lisheng Technology began construction of an intelligent driving control system R&D and production project in Nansha district, Guangzhou city. This project aims to develop and produce such core products as driving monitoring systems, smart cockpit domain controllers, and autonomous driving domain controllers. The project covers an area of approximately 100 mu with a total investment of around 3 billion yuan. Mass production is expected to begin in 2024, with an anticipated annual output value of around 10 billion yuan upon reaching full capacity.

After nearly ten months of construction, the second batch of buildings for Lisheng Technology's intelligent driving control system R&D and production project successfully passed a joint final inspection in early July, marking the project's full completion.

Lisheng Technology is now equipped with the capability to research, develop, and mass-produce key components for intelligent connected vehicles, including both hardware and software. The company has achieved mass production and delivery of multiple products, such as smart cockpit domain controllers, central domain controllers, V2X (vehicle-to-everything) terminals, and high-voltage harnesses.

In recent years, Luxshare-ICT has been expanding its presence in the automotive electronics sector, driven by the rapid development of intelligent electric vehicles. The company has established deep collaborations with industry partners such as GAC Group, Chery Auto, and RoboSense, creating a comprehensive product line that covers automotive harness, connector, new energy vehicle, intelligent connectivity, and smart cockpit and control system fields.
