Hyundai Lafesta N Line Sedan Launched In China, Price Starts At 19,300 USD

On November 5, the Hyundai Lafesta N Line, a sporty variant of the Hyundai Lafesta sedan, is officially launched in China at the Beijing Hyundai joint venture 20th-anniversary celebration event. Three models were launched with a price range of 138,800 – 154,800 RMB (19,300 – 21,500 USD).

The Hyundai Lafesta is a China-only sedan, manufactured by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. The Lafesta is a compact sedan positioned between the Hyundai Elantra and the Hyundai Sonata.

The size of the car is 4690/1790/1425mm with a 2700mm wheelbase. As a sporty sedan, the N Line features a body kit with bigger bumpers and side skirts, a black grille, a faux air scoop in the hood, matte black paint, and a big wing in the rear.

The entry-level trim runs on 17-inch wheels while the higher trim runs on N-branded 18-inch alloy wheels matched with red brake calipers.

The front adopts a frameless grille with a honeycomb design and is integrated with the headlights on both sides.

The rear has a large black wing with four exhaust pipes to further enhance the sportiness of the car!

The interior has a dual-screen consisting of a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 10.25-inch central control screen for infotainment, and a D-shaped steering wheel with flappy pedals. Red elements can be seen throughout the interior against the black background.

In terms of safety, the N Line is equipped with the Hyundai SmartSense driving assistance system. Wireless charging for smartphones is available.

Instead of a gear lever, the N Line has a set of buttons for various drive modes. It also has a Sport drive mode.

The seats are decorated with red stitching and some parts are covered with suede material.

The N Line is powered by a 1.5 turbocharged engine with 200 hp and 253 Nm, mated to a 7-speed DCT. It has a top speed of 220km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds with a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.15L/100km.
