Different from VOYAH’s existing product lineup, the Zhiyin is positioned as an all-electric family SUV, with no plug-in hybrid electric or range extended electric versions.

Unveiled at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing in April, the VOYAH Zhiyin is a globally-oriented model. According to a VOYAH representative, "The Zhiyin is VOYAH's most significant volume model this year, targeting young families and aiming to compete primarily with the Tesla Model Y."

The VOYAH Zhiyin is expected to be produced at the Dongfeng Nissan’s Yunfeng plant. Information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) reveals that the production site is located the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, which is also the production site for Dongfeng Nissan's Ariya electric vehicle model.

The Zhiyin is a collaborative model between VOYAH and Huawei, incorporating Huawei's latest Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system and HarmonyOS cockpit system.

The VOYAH Zhiyin will be available in single-motor and dual-motor versions, using ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate batteries. The single-motor lithium iron phosphate battery version will have a motor power of 215 kW, while the single-motor ternary lithium battery version will have a motor power of 230 kW. The dual-motor version, with front and rear motors, will each have a power of 160 kW. Additionally, the new model will feature a maximum 109-kWh battery pack, offering a range of over 900 km.
