Li Auto teams up with CNPC’s subsidiary on development of EV charging facilities

Shanghai (ZXZC)- On June 18, 2024, CNPC Kunlun Connected Electric Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("CNPC Kunlun"), a subsidiary of CNPC, and Li Auto signed a cooperation agreement to jointly advance the development and construction of electric vehicle charging infrastructures along highways and within cities across China, according to a post on CNPC Kunlun's WeChat account.

This collaboration aims to optimize and enhance the energy replenishment service experience for intelligent electric vehicle users and promote the interconnection of charging platforms, significantly improving the convenience of charging services.

In addition, the two companies will efficiently integrate resources to foster comprehensive, multi-level, and in-depth cooperation in areas such as vehicle owner services, leisure consumption, home charging pile services, and scientific research projects. They aim to create a holistic "people-vehicle-life" service ecosystem. Through practical actions, they will accelerate the nationwide deployment of charging infrastructure, support the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, and provide more convenient and efficient energy replenishment services to new energy vehicle users.

Li Auto delivered 35,020 vehicles in May 2024, up 23.8% year over year. The cumulative deliveries of Li Auto vehicles reached 774,571 units as of the end of May 2024.

As of May 31, 2024, the Company had 487 retail stores in 144 cities, 374 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 214 cities, and 426 super charging stations in operation equipped with 1,888 charging stalls in China.
