Shanghai (ZXZC)- Xiaomi EV announced this week that as of June 13, the cumulative delivery volume of its SU7 model has surpassed 20,000 units.

Additionally, Xiaomi EV stated that the monthly delivery volume for June is expected to exceed 10,000 units, with a target of ensuring 100,000-unit deliveries for the year of 2024 and aiming for 120,000 units.

Recently, the topic "Xiaomi EV sales continuously declining" trended online. Specifically, it was reported that Xiaomi EV's sales for the 23rd week of 2024 (June 3-9) were around 2,100 vehicles, a slight decrease from the 22nd week of 2024 (May 27-June 2), which saw 2,192 vehicles sold.

In response, Wang Hua, General Manager of Xiaomi Group's PR Department, addressed the issue on social media.

He stated that the number of fixed orders is steadily increasing daily. As a new car brand with only a single model and a limited number of delivery centers nationwide, maintaining a spot on the weekly delivery rankings is indeed a significant challenge.

Wang Hua also emphasized that, as previously announced, production capacity has been ramped up with double shifts starting in June. Based on current delivery data, they are confident that the monthly deliveries for June will surpass 10,000 units.

Reportedly, to further enhance the coordination efficiency between orders and production, Xiaomi EV had previously announced that, starting from June 5th, the hesitation period for locking in orders would be reduced from the original seven days to three days.

Moreover, in terms of expanding its sales network, Xiaomi EV added nine new stores in May, bringing the total to 70 stores in 30 cities nationwide. The company plans to further expand its sales network in June with an additional 19 stores. By the end of 2024, Xiaomi EV aims to have 219 sales stores covering 46 cities and 143 service centers covering 86 cities.
