According to Toyota, through TNGA, the Japanese automaker can increase its vehicles’power performance by 10% and the fuel efficiency of its gas-fueled and hybrid electric vehicles by 20% and 15% respectively, while the production cost will be cut by 20%. Meanwhile, Toyota plans to improve overall body rigidity and make more individualized exterior design through the architecture.

Several months ago, the joint venture targeted 745,000-unit 2019 sales, which were around 7,500 units more than the actual sales volume. Amid the release of production capacity of the JV’s TNGA plant this year, it is expected to have a better performance (photo source: FAW-Toyota's WeChat account).
