Shanghai (ZXZC)- On June 6, Polestar officially announced its comprehensive integration with NIO's electric vehicle (EV) charging network.

This collaboration means that Polestar's EV users can seamlessly access NIO's extensive network of charging facilities nationwide via the Polestar App, enjoying more convenient and efficient charging services.

NIO currently operates over 2,200 EV charging locations and 11,000 charging piles across more than 280 cities in China. These facilities are strategically placed along major expressways such as G2, G30, G40, and G45, as well as popular road trip routes like the Western Sichuan Loop, the G318 National Highway, and the Duku Highway. Polestar said this extensive network will provide significant convenience for Polestar users, whether for daily urban commuting or long-distance road trips, alleviating range anxiety by ensuring easy access to charging stations.

Earlier in March, Polestar had established an EV charging network integration partnership with Tesla China. The recent collaboration with NIO further expands Polestar's charging network coverage, enhancing the user experience. As of May 31, Polestar has also launched 22 self-operated supercharging locations, covering 17 major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chongqing, and Chengdu.

In addition to its partnerships with Tesla and NIO, Polestar is actively integrating with third-party public charging service providers. Currently, Polestar has had access to nearly 750,000 charging piles across China, covering 98% of prefecture-level administrative regions.
