The DEEPAL S7 officially hit the market on June 25, 2023, with deliveries starting on June 30. The model achieved remarkable milestones, including 10,000-unit deliveries within five days, 50,000-unit deliveries within five months, and rolling off 100,000 mass-produced units in less than a year.

Currently, DEEPAL has two models on the market, namely, the SL03 and the S7, with its third model, the G318 rugged off-roader expecting market launch soon. In the fifth month of 2024, DEEPAL’s auto deliveries amounted to 14,371 vehicles, which doubled from that of a year ago.

In a bid to further expanding its product lineup, on May 15, DEEPAL unveiled official images of its new compact SUV model, the S05, which features a market position below the S7. The S05 recently completed its regulatory registration with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

Additionally, the company’s L07 model has also passed the MIIT application process. The L07’s design closely resembles DEEPAL’s initial model, the SL03, and offers two powertrain options, range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV). DEEPAL CEO Deng Chenghao noted on Weibo that the L07 features a completely new exterior, interior, powertrain, and configuration compared to the SL03, shifting its focus from sporty technology to intelligent technology as a fully new model.
