Geely’s Galaxy NEV range rolls off 100,000th unit of Galaxy L7 PHEV

Shanghai (ZXZC)- On May 27, Geely's new energy vehicle range Galaxy announced that the 100,000th unit of the Galaxy L7 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) had officially rolled off the production line.

As the first model of Geely Galaxy, the Galaxy L7 hit the market on May 31, 2023, with a price range of 138,700 yuan to 173,700 yuan. In July of the same year (the first full delivery month), its sales reached 10,058 units. Subsequently, on October 15, the 50,000th unit of the Geely Galaxy L7 officially rolled off the production line. It took Geely less than four months to go from 10,000 units to 50,000 units.

In terms of specifications, the Geely Galaxy L7 measures 4,700mm long, 1,905mm wide, and 1,685mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,785mm, positioning it as a compact SUV.

The interior features a four-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 13.2-inch central control screen, and a 16.2-inch passenger entertainment screen. Additionally, it offers 50W wireless phone charging beneath the central control screen and uses a column-mounted gear shifter. The vehicle has a five-seat layout, all covered in faux leather, with the front seats adopting a sporty style.

Regarding intelligence features, the Galaxy L7 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 flagship cockpit chip and the Xingrui intelligent computing center's dual computing bases, supported by ultra-strong cloud computing power of 81 exaFLOPS, along with the Galaxy N OS cockpit operating system. Built on the e-CMA architecture, the Geely Galaxy L7 boasts excellent grip and cornering performance, balancing driving comfort and handling stability.

As for the power system, the model is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system (comprising a 1.5T engine dedicated PHEVs, a front single motor, and a 3-speed variable frequency electric drive DHT Pro). The system delivers a combined power of 287KW and a combined torque of 535 N·m, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.9 seconds, a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of 5.23L/100km in a depleted battery state (4.4L/100km under NEDC conditions), and a combined range of 1,370km.
