Li Auto logs moderate YoY rise of 0.4% in Apr. 2024 deliveries

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Li Auto Inc. ("Li Auto"), one of the main new energy vehicle makers in China, delivered 25,787 vehicles in April 2024, a slight increase of 0.4% compared to the same month last year, according to the company's latest monthly sales results.

By the end of April 2024, Li Auto's cumulative vehicle deliveries had amounted to 739,551 units.

Mr. Li Xiang, the chairman and CEO of Li Auto, remarked, "The Li L6, our inaugural model offered under 300,000 yuan, has quickly become a favorite among young families since its launch in April. We are preparing to begin large-scale deliveries starting in May."

He added that during the May Day holiday, Li Auto will offer complimentary charging services at all of its super charging stations, covering the cost of electricity for users.

Mr. Li also revealed in May, the company also plans to launch OTA version 5.2, which will significantly improve its Li AD Pro and Li AD Max systems. These enhancements will include more sophisticated and safer autonomous driving features, automated parking, and active safety capabilities. Additionally, following the update, users will be able to operate their vehicles using Siri, providing a more convenient and rapid voice control experience.

As of April 30, 2024, Li Auto had expanded its presence to 481 retail stores across 144 cities and maintained 361 servicing centers and authorized body and paint shops in 210 cities. Furthermore, the company has already established 386 super charging stations nationwide, equipped with a total of 1,678 charging stalls.
