Leapmotor delivered 33,767 vehicles in September, marking the second consecutive month of more than 30,000 units and the fourth consecutive record month.

For the first three quarters of the year, Leapmotor delivered 172,861 vehicles, an increase of 97.6 percent year-on-year.

The company's cumulative deliveries since inception stood at 478,685 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

Founded in 2015, Leapmotor is one of the first new car-making forces in China, which initially offered only battery electric vehicle (BEV) models but unveiled plans to build extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models in 2022.

The company currently sells the T03, C01, C10, C11, and C16 in China, with all but the T03 offered in both BEV and EREV variants.

On September 25, Leapmotor shared three images of its new model, the B10, on Weibo, saying that the SUV (sport utility vehicle) is the first globalized model of its all-new B-platform, and will be officially unveiled at the Paris auto show, which opens on October 14.

The B-platform is a key part of Leapmotor's globalization strategy, using the latest Leap 3.5 technology architecture and focusing on delivering top-level intelligent NEV products to young people around the world, the company said at the time.

Based on this new platform, Leapmotor will launch a number of models in 2025 to meet the demand for personalized, intelligent vehicles from different consumer segments, it said.

Leapmotor is working with Stellantis to develop overseas markets, announcing late last month that the C10 and T03 were officially launched in 13 European countries.

Leveraging Stellantis' distribution channel, Leapmotor International plans to increase its global sales outlets to 350 by the fourth quarter of 2024, including more than 200 in the European channel, Leapmotor said.
