Leveraging cutting-edge battery technology, the IM L6 sets new benchmarks with its "over 1,000 kilometers of ultra-long range," "nearly 900V ultra-fast recharging," and "superior safety with no thermal runaway or fire concerns," alleviating user anxieties regarding range, recharging, and battery safety.

The IM L6's upcoming over 130kWh "ultra-fast-charging solid-state battery" employs a patented nano-scale solid electrolyte coating on ultra-high nickel materials for the positive electrode and a new generation of high-energy-density composite silicon-carbon materials for the negative electrode. Through advanced materials and processes, the battery's energy density is significantly increased, enabling the vehicle to achieve exceptional long-range performance. Equipped with the "ultra-fast-charging solid-state battery," the IM L6 can surpass 1,000 kilometers of CLTC-rated battery-powered range.

This battery is also the industry's first mass-produced solid-state battery with ultra-fast charging capability, enabling the IM L6 not only to go the distance but also to recharge rapidly. By utilizing IM Motors’ self-developed solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivity and high-temperature-resistant, as well as the dry method solid electrolyte layer integral forming technologies, the overall internal resistance of the battery cell is greatly reduced, achieving ultra-fast charging performance. The advanced technologies also addresses the high expansion issue of silicon-based materials while ensuring the stability, cycle performance, and safety of the solid-state battery.

Importantly, the IM L6's "ultra-fast-charging solid-state battery" exceeds national battery safety standards, achieving "no thermal runaway or fire for the entire battery pack." The said technologies of the battery can significantly enhance cell safety, preventing traditional electrolyte leakage and reducing the risk of combustion and explosion, ensuring an exceptionally high level of safety.

IM Motors has a long-term plan for solid-state battery development, with at least three generations of solid-state battery products already in the pipeline. On April 8, IM Motors will host a technology release conference for the IM L6 model, where more cutting-edge technologies will be unveiled one by one.
