As XPENG speeds up its internationalization process, an increasing number of Southeast Asian dealers, including Singapore's Premium Automobiles and Malaysia's Bermaz Auto, have joined forces with XPENG. This partnership network aims to bring advanced smart technology and electric vehicles (EVs) tailored to meet local market demands to a broader consumer base in the region.

XPENG said it will introduce the right-hand drive version of its XPENG G6 in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, with deliveries expected to commence in the third quarter of this year.

The Southeast Asian market, being one of the world's significant automotive markets, plays a pivotal role in Chinese automakers' international strategy. By amplifying its smart technology edge and establishing extensive strategic partnerships with dealers across Southeast Asia, XPENG is dedicated to constructing a top-tier distribution, sales, and service network.

Wu Jiaming, Vice President of XPENG, stated, "Entering the markets of Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia and offering a series of electric vehicle models customized for the local markets are key components of our global expansion strategy. This move will further solidify XPENG's position as a leader in the global smart EV industry."

The XPENG G6, the first flagship model under the SEPA 2.0 architecture, is developed with the global markets' demands in mind. It encapsulates XPENG's core technologies in product development, power replenishment, and intelligent systems.
