BYD Song MPV Is Almost Ready For The Chinese Car Market
The latest photos of the production version of the new BYD Song MPV, a stylish seven-seat people carrier. It will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in late August and launch on the Chinese car market in Q4. Name talk: some say it will be called the Song MPV, other say it will be names Song 7 MPV.

The interior is very dark and combines an analog instrument panel with a very large Tesla-like touch screen. Low-spec versions get a smaller screen.
Engines: 154hp 1.5 turbo and a rather old 140hp 2.0, both mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed DCT. BYD is also working on a rather spectacular 303hp hybrid but that variant will launch in 2018.
Size: 4680/1810/1680, and wheelbase is 2785.
