The good old MG3 gets a much needed facelift. It will debut on next week’s Shanghai Auto Show and launch on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes an all new front in MG ZS style, new lights and new bumpers, and an updated interior.

The current car. Last facelift dates back to January 2014. Price starts at 67.800 yuan and ends at 83.700 yuan. Engines: 92hp 1.3 and a 109hp 1.5.

The facelifted cars will keep the same engines with a little bit more horsepower: 96.5 for the 1.3 and 111.5 for the 1.5. Now, that is an improvement..! Price range will be about the same.

Earlier spy shot of the interior. New things: small screen on top of the center, aircon control panel, steering wheel, shape if the gear knob, and the seats look sportier.

New rear lights are very stylish. Lower window line has been straightened. MG badge has grown by about 50%. Hatch has gone down to the bumper. Exhaust pipes are invisible.
