Li Auto’s first mass-produced MEGA MPVs come off line

Shanghai (ZXZC)- On March 4, 2024, Li Auto, a prominent new energy vehicle maker in China, saw the first mass-produced units of its inaugural all-electric model, the MEGA MPV, officially roll off the production line at its green intelligent manufacturing base in Beijing city, according to the company's press release.

The company also revealed the official delivery of the MEGA model would kick off on March 11.

Li Auto said its Beijing manufacturing base, as a green, high-end intelligent flagship factory, incorporated numerous cutting-edge production processes from the outset of its construction. These include 100% unmanned delivery, 99.5% automated welding, 3D vision, virtual simulation, edge computing, and big data analysis. Simultaneously, built upon the company's existing high-quality inspection standards, the standards underwent a comprehensive upgrade and iteration to ensure the flagship quality of delivering the Li MEGA to users. Additionally, Li Auto closely collaborated with component suppliers to guarantee a stable, high-quality supply of parts while swiftly increasing production to expedite the timely vehicle delivery for users.

On March 1, Li Auto officially put the MEGA flagship MPV onto the market. As Li Auto's first 5C high-voltage pure electric model, the MEGA features 100 premium configurations as standard, all at a unified retail price of 559,800 yuan nationwide.

With its 5C ultra-fast charging technology, the MEGA ensures worry-free travel for large families. Equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform and Qilin 5C battery pack, boasting a total energy of 102.7 kWh, the MEGA achieves an extraordinary CLTC-rated range of 710 kilometers.

As of March 4, the Li MEGA display and test-drive vehicles have arrived at 464 retail centers across China.
