Shanghai (ZXZC)- On February 23, the BYD Dolphin Honor Edition model officially hit the market, introducing four distinct trim levels with a price range from 99,800 yuan to 129,800 yuan.

The new vehicle's front facade retains the signature "ocean aesthetic" design, portraying a rounded and dynamic visual effect. Notable changes can be observed on the side profile, where the new model showcases redesigned low-drag wheel rims, a significant alteration from the 2023 version. Additionally, the Dolphin Honor Edition introduces rear privacy glass and new body color options in Atlantis Grey and Heatwave Red.

At the rear, the through-type taillights contribute to a distinctive identity, harmonizing with the front-end design. The vehicle dimensions stand at 4,125 (4,150)mm / 1,770mm / 1,570mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 2,700mm. Wheel sizes vary with configurations, offering 16 and 17-inch options.

Interior improvements focus on enhancing details, with the front row featuring a Type-C charging port, upgraded 50-watt wireless charging, and ventilated front seats for an overall boost in comfort.

The symmetrical design of the center console remains unchanged, housing a 5-inch LCD dashboard for a clean and minimalistic appearance. The three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and the 12.8-inch floating center console contribute to a dynamic interior. Below the central screen, a rotary and button-operated interface, including the gear shift mechanism, minimizes space usage and facilitates user-friendly blind operation.

Powering the BYD Dolphin Honor Edition is a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 70 kW and peak torque of 180 N·m. The high-performance Knight Edition boasts a maximum power of 130 kW and peak torque of 290 N·m. Depending on different trims, the new model is equipped with a 32.256kWh or 44.928kWh battery pack, providing a choice of 302km, 401km, or 420km in CLTC range. Notably, the independent four-link suspension adds to the overall driving experience.
