Among them were 5,000 units of the Yiwei 3 (EV3), 5,000 units of the Huaxianzi (translating to “Flower Fairy”) and the Aipao series, all bound for destinations in the Gulf region and Central and South America. This milestone marks the official commencement of Yiwei's internationalization strategy.
The Yiwei brand had previously introduced its first production model, the EV3, on June 16, 2023. Built on the second-generation DI platform, the EV3 boasts four cutting-edge solutions, including a non-combustible honeycomb battery, a nine-in-one super electric drive system, a full-vehicle central air conditioning system, and a five-star collision safety standard.
With over 80 practical features, the EV3 offers competitive pricing. Available in six variants and two range options—405 km and 505 km—the EV3's prices range from 89,900 yuan to 127,900 yuan.
Inside, the EV3's cockpit design takes inspiration from a spaceship, featuring a two-spoke steering wheel and a 15.6-inch central control screen equipped with the Yiwei OS intelligent cabin system. This system, boasting a user-friendly UI design, delivers robust computing capabilities, an open connected ecosystem, and over 100 freely combinable services.
