Shanghai (ZXZC)- In January 2024, NIO achieved a delivery volume of 10,055 vehicles, marking an 18.2% year-over-year growth, according to the carmaker's latest monthly delivery results. These included 6,307 premium smart electric SUVs and 3,748 premium smart electric sedans.

As of January 31, 2024, the cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles had summed up to 459,649 units.

NIO's vehicle models recently undergone a comprehensive experiential upgrade, said the company. The Banyan 2.4.0 version introduces over 50 new features and optimizations, including standout functionalities like the 4D comfort pilot, the GOA universal obstacle warning and assistance, the all-direction AEB, the NOMI full-cabin memory, the Karaoke without microphone, and the track mode.

NIO has extended its battery swapping network to encompass the entire automotive industry. In January 2024, NIO inked strategic partnership agreements with JAC Group and Chery Automobile for battery swapping, following the prior collaborations with Changan Automobile and Geely Group. Furthermore, NIO, in collaboration with fellow investors, co-founded Zhongan Energy in January 2024—a dedicated company aimed at advancing the establishment of an open and shared charging, battery swapping, and energy storage network. Zhongan Energy's ambitious goal is to construct 1,000 battery swap stations across China in the coming years.

As the Spring Festival approaches, NIO is set to kick off its 2024 Spring Festival service guarantee. Beyond distinctive services like Roadside Supply Stations and Homebound Assistance, from February 8 to February 18, NIO users (including those without battery swapping benefits) can enjoy free battery swapping services at all 769 highway battery swapping stations nationwide.
