At the end of this year, Audi FAW NEV will introduce all-electric Audi-branded vehicles to the Chinese market. Riding on the PPE platform, the three models tailor-made to Chinese consumers under the Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron series will be produced at the plant.
With a planned annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, this venture is expected to create 3,000 new job opportunities while strengthening Audi's commitment to sustainable development. Furthermore, by ensuring that 50% of suppliers are within a 30-kilometer radius from the production base, Audi FAW NEV aims to cultivate an eco-system, fostering economic development in the region.
Located in Changchun city, Jilin Province, this facility stands as Audi's first dedicated production site for electric vehicles in China, showcasing remarkable progress since its commencement in 2022.
