The unique design of the front bumper, featuring exaggerated air channels on either side, adds a robust and recognizable touch. The large-sized black panels with chrome accents contribute to the vehicle's rugged appearance. Hidden door handles, black trim panels, and chrome details on the bottom further enhance its sports character.

At the rear, the through-type taillight assembly, segmented spoiler on the roof, and a sizable diffuser highlight the sporty aspect as well. Differing from the existing models in the Dynasty series, the new model features the "BYD" logo at the rear, deviating from the seal script font used in the front emblem.

Based on information recorded by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ("MIIT"), the Yuan UP measures 4,310mm long, 1,830mm wide, and 1,675mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm, making it smaller than the Yuan PLUS model.

In terms of configuration, the Yuan UP offers consumers a range of personalized options, including various wheel styles, panoramic sunroof with luggage rack, front grille decorations, and side skirt embellishments, as per the declaration information from the MIIT.

Regarding power, it is expected to feature a 130kW electric motor with the BYD Blade Battery, though specific details about the range are currently undisclosed.
