During the ceremony, a live connection was established between BYD's global headquarters and the Uzbekistan factory. BYD's Chairman Wang Chuanfu and President Mirziyoyev jointly pressed the start button, symbolizing the official commencement of new energy vehicle production at the BYD Uzbekistan factory. This momentous occasion underscored the commitment of both parties towards realizing the shared vision of green transportation and reducing carbon emissions.

Strategically located in the Jizzakh region, the BYD Uzbekistan factory is set to produce hotter-selling models such as the Destroyer and Song, resulting from the joint venture between BYD and UzAuto.
