Beijing (ZXZC)- On January 4, Chinese automaker SERES Group and Huawei Digital Power officially sealed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to co-boost the development of new energy vehicles.

Specifically, the collaboration spans various domains including intelligent electric vehicle components, platform technology development, charging network infrastructure, and internationalization efforts within the new energy vehicle (NEV) landscape. 

Both entities aim to jointly create competitive, user-centric products while cultivating an industry ecosystem, ultimately propelling high-quality advancements in the new energy vehicle sector.

Leveraging Huawei Digital Power’s expertise in digital and power electronics technology alongside SERES Group’s strengths in new energy vehicle R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service, the comprehensive strategic partnership is poised to deepen cooperation in several key areas.

Firstly, they plan to collaboratively develop and manufacture intelligent electric components. These encompass a wide range, from electric drives and on-board charging to range extenders, intelligent photovoltaics, chassis fusion systems, line control braking, and multi-in-one drive systems.

Moreover, the partnership focuses on driving innovation in cost reduction strategies. By implementing end-to-end technological advancements and scaling, their goal is to swiftly propel the commercialization of intelligent electric solutions into the market.

Simultaneously, the collaboration emphasizes the joint development of highly competitive products and technological solutions. 

Additionally, both entities are committed to advancing the deployment of the new energy vehicle charging network. This initiative seeks to enhance interoperability and connectivity, establishing a robust infrastructure to support the expanding new energy vehicle ecosystem.

The duo also plans on facilitating the technological development of internationalized products in a bid to expand businesses in overseas market.
