Beijing (ZXZC)- On December 27, BAIC Group’s premium new energy vehicle brand, ARCFOX, officially put the α T5 onto the market with four variants, whose prices range from 155,800 yuan to 203,800 yuan.

Positioned as a mid-size all-electric SUV, this model integrates an 800V fast-charging system, available in two range options, 520km or 660km.

Crafted with a “cross layout” cabin design, the α T5 presents a spacious and dynamic interior through curved elements, providing a length of 4,690mm and a wheelbase of 2,845mm, optimizing space utilization at 69%.

Underpinned by CATL’s Shenxing supercharging batteries, ARCFOX developed the efficient “Jifeng” power system, ensuring a remarkable energy consumption of 13.9 kWh/100km and an industry-leading 660km range. Additionally, the α T5 features 800V high-voltage supercharging capability, granting 260km of range in just 10 minutes of charging.

Derived from the IMC intelligent electric vehicle platform, the α T5 boasts 200kW maximum power, 360N·m peak torque, and an 0-100km/h acceleration of 7.5 seconds.

Notably, the new SUV also features L2.5 intelligent driving capabilities, ensuring a smooth and safe highway drive with HWA highway assistance driving functions. Its intelligent parking system effortlessly handles narrow, corner, and slope parking spaces, offering a user experience akin to an experienced driver.

The unique programmable cabin of the α T5 offers 93 customizable features, from climate control to seat settings, providing users with a tailored experience. Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and a 15.6-inch 1080p screen, the infotainment system delivers a seamless and high-resolution interface, ideal for work, entertainment, or connectivity needs.
