Spy Shots: 2016 Buick Lacrosse is Testing in China
The very first Spy Shots of the all-new 2016 Buick LaCrosse. This is the China-made variant which will be manufactured by the Shanghai-GM joint venture. The new LaCrosse will launch in November on the L.A. Auto Show followed by a debut in China in December on the Guangzhou Auto Show.
The present Buick LaCrosse, made by Shanghai-GM as well. Price starts at 235.900 yuan and ends at 289.900 yuan. Engines: 186hp 2.4 and a 254hp 2.0 turbo.
The 2016 Buick Lacrosse will be based on the new GM E2XX platform. The 2.4 will be deleted, the 2.0 turbo will continue, and a new 3.6 liter V6 will be added to the line-up. Lone transmission will be a nine-speed automatic. Price range will move up to the 250.000 – 325.000 range. Deliveries in China will begin in the first quarter of 2016.
