Spy Shots showing the upcoming Brilliance H220 Cross testing in China, a hip-ish crossover car based on the Brilliance H220 hatchback. The H220 Cross got the typical cross treatment with black plastic in the bumpers, black plastic on the doors, and more black plastic on the wheel arches. The Cross will launch on the Chinese car market in Q4.

The base Brilliance H220 launched in November 2013. Price starts at 54.800 yuan and ends at 79.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 105hp and 143nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Size: 4190/1703/1482, wheelbase is 2570.

Price of the H220 Cross will start around 60.000 yuan and end around 85.000 yuan. Engine and transmissions will be exactly the same as in the base H220.

Extra large rear wing and more black plastic yet again. Cross-kinda cars are very popular in China, keeping the mountaineering dreams alive among city folk, and in many cases outsell the very vehicles they are based on.
