The new Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GA8 will be launched on the Chinese auto market in September, with a price ranging from around 180.000 to 220.000 yuan. The Trumpchi GA8 will be the flagship sedan of the Trumpchi range. The GA8 debuted in semi-concept form on the Shanghai Auto Show.

The production version of the Trumpchi GA8 will look for 99% the same,just think away the super-sized tires and fancy alloys. The GA8 will be positioned above the Trumpchi GA6 sedan.

The interior is looking fine but design doesn’t seem fully finished yet. The LCD sits in an rather ugly frame on top of the center console with the dashboard sort of waving behind it.

The Trumpchi GA8 will be available with two four-cylinder petrol engines: a 1.8 liter turbo with 177hp and 242nm, and a 2.0 turbo with about 200hp and 280nm, both mated to a seven-speed DCT.
