Spy Shots: Chevrolet Malibu gets a Facelift in China
Spy Shots showing the facelifted Chevrolet Malibu sedan for China. The facelifted Chevrolet Malibu will debut on next month’s Shanghai Auto Show and launch in the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes a new grille, new bumpers, new headlights, and new rear lights. The Malibu is made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture.
The facelift also means that China will not get the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Malibu that will debut on next month’s New York Auto Show. It is however also possible that the 2016 Malibu will come to China at a later time, using a different name.
This is the current Chevrolet Malibu, launched in February 2012. Current price starts at 169.900 yuan and ends at 236.900 yuan ($271.000 – 37.790). Three four-cylinder petrol engines: 154hp 2.0, 184hp 1.6 turbo, and a 186hp 2.4. All engines will continue in the facelifted Malibu and price will be about the same.
New rear lights loose the Camaro touch. New bumper with the exhaust pipes hidden underneath.
