The M9 five-seater is available in three trim levels: the M9 Max Extended Range version starting at 469,800 yuan, the M9 Ultra Extended Range version starting at 529,800 yuan, and the M9 Ultra Battery-electric version starting at 569,800 yuan.
The new AITO M9 five-seat version is equipped with several cutting-edge Huawei technologies. It features Huawei's high-resolution smart projection headlights with dual-reflector lens technology, capable of ultra-close-range welcome projections. The M9 also introduces VPD parking light signals, where the headlights can project messages like “Yielding” and “Temporarily Stopping” during parking and valet scenarios, providing visual cues to pedestrians and surrounding vehicles.

The AITO M9 boasts an upgraded smart cockpit with Huawei's HarmonyOS 4.0 system, which enhances the control center interface, allowing over 90% of commonly used functions to be accessed with a single touch. It also includes the HUAWEI AR-HUD (augmented-reality head-up display) system, delivering a 75-inch display area in 2K resolution for an immersive experience.
A key highlight of the launch event was the HUAWEI ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system, which uses an end-to-end architecture with PDP decision neural networks, enhancing pre-decision and planning capabilities. A new instinctual safety network is also integrated to ensure maximum safety. In August 2024, HUAWEI ADS achieved a total intelligent driving distance of over 200 million kilometers in a single month, said Huawei.

Furthermore, the HUAWEI ADS 3.0 system integrates deeply with AR-HUD, offering upgrades like traffic light countdowns, turn signals, omnidirectional safety warning lights, and lane change guidance. The system also introduces side blind-spot real-time visualization for drivers, displaying a 37-inch side blind-spot video during turns and lane changes.
The AITO M9 five-seater is now available for preorder under the Pioneer Plan, limited to 1,000 units. Deliveries for Pioneer Plan participants will begin before October 1, 2024, with broader deliveries starting in mid-October.
