Shanghai (ZXZC)- Rising Auto, an electric vehicle brand wholly-owned by SAIC Motor, announced the introduction of its "aviation-inspired vehicle dynamics technology" called Rising Wan Yu (translating to “Bay Domain”) System, which will be installed onto the 2024 Rising R7 first.

According to Rising Auto, the Wan Yu system supports 4K-level linear output with 0.1% granularity in acceleration curves. It also features an organ-styled accelerator pedal and continuously adjustable energy recovery. Linear braking is also supported.

As for stability performance, the system leverages Rising Auto's in-house-developed electric vehicle tuning system and features Continental's One-Box brake-by-wire system as standard across the lineup. The ESP system is specially tuned for crosswind scenarios and is claimed to be "three times faster than traditional ESP."

Additionally, Rising Auto says the Wan Yu system achieves cabin noise levels as low as 55.7 dB at 60 km/h. The AR-HUD provides visual acuity zoning to keep the driver's focus on the forward view. Ergonomic seats are also equipped.

According to earlier report, the 2024 Rising R7 will hit the market later this month as a mid-large coupe SUV. It measures 4,900 mm long, 1,925 mm wide, 1,655 mm tall with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Partly thanks to the fastback design, the model achieves a drag coefficient of 0.238 Cd.

The Rising R7 is equipped with the "Rising Bach Cockpit" including the Bach Master steering wheel and immersive vector audio technology claimed to "keep sound direction consistent with user attention." Frameless doors, 4-door electric latching, 360° panoramic imaging, 256-color ambient lighting, a 1.855 sqm integrated canopy glass roof, streaming rear-view mirror and multi-functional SPA seats are also among the niceties.

For intelligent interaction, the 2024 R7 adopts the visual interaction solution composed of Huawei’s AR-HUD and an 43-inch triple-display setup. It also runs Rising OS 1.4.0, claimed as the "industry's first smartphone OS-agnostic digital cockpit ecosystem" capable of high-speed connectivity to OPPO, Xiaomi and other brands' mobile phones.
