The new Citroen DS 6 SUV debuted on the Chengdu Auto Show, it is the production version of the DS6-WR concept that debuted on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show in April. The Citroen DS 6 SUV will be launched on the China car market on September 27, price will start at 199.000 yuan and end at 309.900 yuan, and that is more expensive than expected.

A very luxurious interior with lots of leather and chrome. Typical DS flat-bottomed steering wheel. Screen just big enough.

The DS6 is manufactured by the Changan-PSA joint venture, it is based on the same platform as the Citroen DS5 and Citroen DS5 LS that are already in production in China.

Engines: a 1.6 turbo with 200hp and 275nm and a 1.6 turbo with 163hp and 240nm. Later on a cheaper 1.8 with 139hp and 170nm will be added to the line-up. Size: 4553/1858/1610mm, wheelbase is 2732mm.

Chromed lower bumper very cool. Roof rack morphs into C-pillar. Also cool. Alloys look concept but are for real. Cool again.

They also had a gold car on the booth. White is better. Grille impressive with any color.
