GAC Group reveals ADiGO in-car smart ecosystem, to be used in Aion LX first

Shanghai (ZXZC)- GAC Group on July 28 launched its self-developed in-car intelligent-connected ecosystem ADiGO that integrates such features as intelligent factory, autonomous driving and IoT (Internet of Things), the Guangzhou-based automaker announced via its WeChat account.

The newly-launched system currently comprises two subsystems focusing on autonomous driving and IoT respectively and plans to roll out the cloud and big data platforms in the future.

The ADiGO autonomous driving system has already made its premiere at the Auto Shanghai 2019 in April. Powered by big data and various AI technologies, the self-driving system is available for mass production in level 3 and is able to support level 4 pilot running in some closed scenarios.

Showing up for the first time, the ADiGO IoT system is designed to efficiently cope with businesses by grasping consumer's sensuous demands and analyzing them rationally, said GAC Group.

Besides, the new IoT system will improve driving safety by redefining the information framework on the basis of users' driving behaviors and application scenarios, said Zhang Fan, vice president of GAC Engineering Institute. He also revealed that the ADiGO IoT is set to be installed in the Aion LX all-electric SUV in the first place and will be implanted into GAC Trumpchi-branded vehicles afterwards.

The ADiGO in-car system features technical supports from Tencent and Huawei as well. The automaker announced the collaboration with the two Chinese tech giants in the meantime for intelligent cockpit, cloud platform, mobility services, intelligent connectivity and other fields (Photo source: GAC Group's WeChat account).
